You Are 85% Real

There's hardly a person on this earth more real than you are.
You have no problem showing people who you are, flaws and all.
For you, there couldn't be any other way. Because it's way too stressful to live an inauthentic life.
You're very comfortable with yourself. And because of this, you're able to live an exciting, interesting, and challenging life.

WELL I ALWAYS DID THINK I WAS PRETTY MUCH A "REAL" GIRL. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET KIND OF GAL.

Three Weeks of VBS

Ok there is really only one week of VBS. But in my house it usually goes something like this:

One week spent preparing for VBS. I teach the K - 6th crafts classes at our church. So at least a week is spent buying supplies, cutting supplies, making decorations for the room etc.

Then one week of VBS. Oddly enough VBS is only from 8 to 11 yet nothing else much really seems to get done that week. It is not just me either at least three days that week both me and Em came home and took a nap. And Emily NEVER naps!

Then one week recovering from VBS. During this week I try to find the house after the two weeks of neglect it received. I must be getting better because other than being very behind on laundry the house work wasn't really in all that of a bad shape.

Here is a picture of the crafts we did this year:

We did the Game Day theme so they are all sports oriented. There is a cork message board, a wooden gym bag tag, a sports bead zipper pull, a jersey prayer journal, and a CD case picture frame.

Also Cecil's birthday fell in during VBS again this year. The kids and I had been saving change for months so we wouldn't have to ask him for money but still be able to buy him a great present. We got him a gas grill with an ignition switch, 2 burners, a thermostat, a shelf on one side and a side burner on the other.

Not too shabby to have been paid for with change if you ask me.

Any way this is clean up week. I did get a day out of the house yesterday. I took Bran and his friend Mason up to work our church's food bank. Then a member of our group scheduled a Texas wildlife biologist to come and speak to our group about snakes. (sorry I forgot my camera)

Afterwards I did a bit of errand running, got the boys hair cut, grocery store, snack at Sonic, ordered our Angel Food, etc. I've been finding it hard to inspire myself to get the house clean. I know I need to get my rear in gear. My MIL is supposed to come stay a week or two. My DH is planning to pick her up Saturday so I really do need to get going. I really thought after taking a day off yesterday (I even just popped frozen pizza in the oven for supper) would be the break I needed to really dig in there today. So far .... not so much.
